The challenge trophy for the winner, designed by jewellery designer Katarína Siposová, was received by students of the Secondary Vocational School of Woodworking in Spišská Nová Ves, Vanesa Múdra and Anna Mária Bednárová. Their series of photographs found in family archives, complemented by authentic photographs of the same views, is set in a video presentation with accompanying commentary by witnesses. Second place went to Simona Müllerová and Nina Bučková from Metodova Grammar School in Bratislava for their spontaneous ballet performance in front of the new Slovak National Theatre ballet building. Third place was fiercely contested, and in the end the jury chose the conceptual treatment of the absurdity of perceiving school rules by Katarína Kucajová, Barbora Nalevanková, Alžbeta Hodorová, and Viktória Mikulová from the School of Applied Arts in Košice. A special award for an exceptional spatial installation project with 1,000 (you read that right) origami cranes expressing hope went to Vladimíra Vondrová, Lenka Blašková, Simona Leitmanová, Leona Šestáková, and Rastislav Hlocký from the Private School of Applied Arts in Topoľčany. Honourable mention was also deserved by the mildly Dadaist object-assemblages of childhood and adulthood by Andrea Mináriková, Henrieta Ondrejková, Klaudia Romanová, Nikola Salajová, Soňa Samáková, Barbora Siráňová, Michal Štalmach, Ľubica Vandlíková, and Viktor Staník from the Private Secondary School of Art in Žilina.
