Finale and Exhibition Opening | Food

This week we are looking forward to the exhibition opening and the finale of the Máš umelecké črevo? competition on the theme of Food! We are excited to see your presentations and the exhibition at the new Slovak National Gallery. We will open the exhibition on Thursday, 4 May 2023 at 18:00 in the SNG atrium.

The finale will take place the following day, on Friday, 5 May 2023.

In the morning, from 9:00 to 12:30, the individual teams will present their projects. They will be evaluated by an expert jury made up of gallery educators: representing SNG, Barbora Tribulová and Vendy Kováčová; representing SSG, Martina Martincová; representing VSG, Petra Filipiaková; and representing NG Prague, Ida Muráňová. The jury will also include its chair, the artist, VŠVU educator and graphic designer Dávid Koronczi; experts on sustainable approaches to food Zuzana Madajová from Free Food and Martin Gajdoš from Bezobalis; lawyer Radovan Pala from the Taylor Wessing law firm; and Jana Feherpataky-Kuzmová, director of the Institute for Active Citizenship. The announcement of the results, presentation of diplomas, gifts and the Máš umelecké črevo? prize will take place at 16:30. The event will take place live in the SNG cinema hall, entrance from Riečna 1. We will also stream it on the YouTube channel of the Slovak National Gallery.
