Tell Me What You Eat With and I’ll Tell You Who You Are
The work by Simona Saláková and Matúš Pittner is a probe into a world marked by the coronavirus pandemic, since students and teaching support staff have had to bring their own cutlery to the school canteen. The photographs in the archive box are not only portraits of cutlery, but also of their owners, thanks in part to short comments about their relationship to them.

The project by Alžběta Hejmovská, Ema Marušincová, Richard Palzer and Alžběta Líza Zímová focuses on the problem of hunger for something other than food. For spiritual nourishment, which they decided to distribute through the Druhota retail chain.

An Edible Source of Energy
In the project by Szilárd Lamper and Gréta Rozgonyi art is combined with science. Potatoes are a basic ingredient for satiety, but they can also generate electrical energy, connecting a humanity that is becoming increasingly distant from one another.

For the first time in history, we concluded the 7th year of the competition in Hungary, in Budapest! The team from the Ludwig Museum prepared a great weekend programme that provided space for sharing experiences with the Máš umelecké črevo? project. Over the weekend, we managed to visit several institutions: the House of Music, where we took an interactive tour through the history of music; the Michelin-starred restaurant Onyx Műhely, where we tasted the Zserbó dessert and learned more about food design, the Ludwig Museum and its current exhibitions; and the Deák17 Gallery, where we jointly installed the winning projects from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The opportunity to discuss the direction of the competition, its importance for young people and teaching support staff, and the networking of institutions and contacts was also very welcome.
