Winning projects on the theme Freedom of Choice

Ringišpíl

Oliver Kotrusz, Barbora Hlavačková, Matúš Kráľovič and Viktória Šimanská focused in their project on the theme and concept of parenthood and on examining the aspects that accompany this phenomenon. For the presentation, they used original photographs and a so-called children’s carousel, complete with the musical accompaniment of a lullaby, as well as the possibility of seeing the work from the perspective of a child lying on a pillow beneath it.

Hydra Checks

Jáchym Kartous, Jorik Chase, Mojžíš González, Jonáš Zima and Jorika Veselá took an investigative, conspiracy-based approach to the theme of hoaxes and disinformation in our society, and even drew Czech Railways into the work; despite this, they still decided to use them on the journey to the international meeting!, thereby risking all the research to date, which was presented in a conceptual way.

Anna Drexler and Anna Éberling relied on high-quality animation accompanied by an original composition, and used several short sketches to point out the options we have when making decisions.

Hungary

The international meeting and exhibition of projects took place this time at the Moravian Gallery in Brno. The exhibition could be visited from 18 June to 26 June 2022 at the Governor’s Palace. Teams from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary presented their projects. Each of the winning projects approached this year’s competition theme, Freedom of Choice, from a different angle.
